Kids Bedding
Decorating a Kids Room is fun, it's a great way to play with colors and prints and pictures. It's also pretty gender inspired since it's both a trend and a small fact that Girls prefer Pink and Boys go for Blue. You can also choose to go a little bit in between, Yellow and Green is to base tones that will both create a warm and cozy feel to any room as well as colors that are great for any kid to grow up in and it wont be to rushed to start painting it after just a few years, this colors can be kept well up to their early teens.
For a small toddler room it's more fun to add wallpaper borders such as baloons and teddybears.
Finding Nemo, for the boyroom creating a tough yet fun feel, another great 'in between color' scheme with the pink combine with green as a calmer base tone making the 'girl room' less girly but still fairy inspired and cute.
When babies are small and growing it's a great idea to add a soft carpet, perhaps add that to the intire floor with a harder surface for better cleaning it. Toys and other teddy animals is great to store in storage boxes for an easy pick up and cleaning away facility. This will also create a good lesson for any growing kid: after playing we clean up, and with a box they could be part of cleaning up the toys themselves, this will make any toddler proud of his or hers toys at a early stage and also implement the importance of keeping it nice and clean around you. Soft lights and maybe fun night lamps is also a great ideas for a little kid who doesn't like sleeping in the dark. I have friends that has added stars in the cealing which is a fun way to create magic and scare the most terrible monsters under the bed away.
In the wild or on the 'wild seas'..
Pictures on the walls. Having pictures of Mum and Dad, brother and sister, Grandma and Grandad is also a nice idea, shouldn't be any serious pictures, rather go for fun and laughing pictures that creates a warm family spirit in the room. Also an important sense of belonging.
Simply have fun with it and live out your best childhood dreams through your kids, and go for imaginative interior and another great idea is to incorporate your child in the job, let them in on choosing theme and colors and perhaps do it togheter?
